Meet the Trainers
Our trainers have over 15 years collective experience as dog trainers & behaviourists.
Kimi Sturmey
My name is Kimi, and I have worked as a dog trainer and behaviourist since 2016. I've worked with many dogs with various behavioural challenges, from puppy training to severe aggression. I love helping dogs express their wild side safely and joyfully, fostering strong bonds between dogs and their owners. I focus on building confidence and play drive in dogs. I have two dogs: Tara, my senior Staffie who has been with me throughout my career, and Rusty, my young Staffador who has introduced me to new sports and activities. I also run a dog accessory company called Brindle & Bramble handmaking adventure-proof rope collars & leads.
Leah Dear
I'm Leah, and since 2019, I've been dedicated to working with dogs as a trainer and behaviorist. My passion extends to all animals, from pets to livestock, and I have hands-on experience with them all. I continuously strive to expand and refine my knowledge of animal care and the relationships between the dogs and the other animals. I enjoy assisting people in channeling their dogs' energy to enhance behavior modification efforts. I have a strong interest in activities such as trick training and scent work, which I enjoy with my staffie, Hank. He is an energetic, driven dog who relishes every challenge and activity we undertake together.
